Ingredients

Bitter Gourd
Bitter Gourd, known with common name Karela in our daily cuisine, contains active substances with anti-diabetic properties, including Charantin, which is known for its blood glucose-lowering effect. It also contains an insulin-like compound called Polypeptide-p or p-insulin which has been shown to control diabetes naturally, in bath Type I and Type II diabetes.

Jamun
Ayurveda has given immense attention to Jamun, when it comes to controlling Diabetes. Jamun is astringent, anti-diuretic, helps reducing frequent urination, has hypoglycaemic properties with the ability to reduce sugar in blood and has antioxidant properties, thus making it an excellent herb or fruit for diabetics.

Neem
As per Ayurveda, Neem leaves have flavonoids, triterpenoid, anti-viral compounds and glycosides, which may help in managing blood glucose, and is widely accepted herb in balancing blood sugar levels.

Gurmar
Gurmar is an ultimate sugar destroyer, as the name suggests, has been described in Ayurveda for reducing blood glucose levels, as it contains triterpenoid saponins, flavanols, and gurmarin. Triterpenoid saponins, have the effect of suppressing the taste of sweetness on the tongue from natural sugars, and artificial sweeteners as well.

Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera, as per studies has been known to have a lot of properties that help in managing blood glucose levels, and additionally enhancing the energy levels which might be disruptive owing to diabetes.

Amla
Amla is an excellent herb when it comes to managing Diabetes. The pancreas get inflamed in diabetic patients, causing pancreatitis that may lead to injured insulin-secreting cells thus resulting in a spike in blood sugar levels. Amla is known to control pancreatitis and eventually manage blood sugar levels effectively.

Harad
Many Ayurveda scholars consider Harad as King of Herbs, considering its vast healing properties. Many scientific researches strongly recommend use of Harad for managing diabetes and keeping the blood sugar levels under control. Consuming Harad promotes production of insulin from the pancreatic β-cells, making them active. It is also known to helps reducing the breakdown of starch into glucose, which eventually regulates the secretion of insulin and thus leads to low blood sugar levels.

Bahera
Bahera helps in balancing Kapha Dosha, a major cause for diabetes as per Ayurveda. Consuming regularly is of great help in managing elevated blood glucose levels.

Methi

Mamejava
